Didn’t get the chance to shout about this when it arrived because of the crazyness of moving, but my new laptop arrived! Woo /end sarcasm. Why do I think you’ll care about my laptop? To be fair I don’t, but I’m excited about it and it took me a good few weeks to decide on before ordering. It was a pretty good spec for the price so I’m happy for now. 

That said. I was happy with it as in the 10 days I’ve owned it already it’s manged to bluescreen twice on me. Dell customer support weren’t entirely helpful, and their formulaic response didn’t little appease my frustration. In the end I took 3 hours out of life to run their hardware tests all coming up negative. The resulting negative = me having to ring their paid for “software support” line if I wanted help. I’m at pains to point out when these happened virtually nothing had been installed, and certainly nothing that hadn’t previously run smoothly on my old laptop. I will continue this battle with Dell, I feel aggrieved that I have to pay for this at such an early stage in its life. 

 

I’m sure this will invite all mac lovers to comment to themselves about pc’s sucking and yes you are right but I’ve made my bed and know I’m clearly lying in it.
