Well FOWA represented two very cool days in which I learnt a huge amount of stuff, both good and bad plus came away from it feeling a little more inspired to finally do/learn some of the stuff I’ve been talking about (and some that I’ve not). It will certainly make going back to work that little bit more fun, see if I can actually get them to apply some of what was talked about. In short meeting some similarly minded people at a show can be pretty damn awesome.

I learnt…

1) I’ve clearly not been using twitter in the right way & it’s so much more fun when you know people on it!
2) People with 38,000+ followers won’t ever reply to random “@”’s
3) come to that people with 530+ followers won’t either…
4) I need more followers
5) That being as absorbed in your job as I can get could be considered a benefit
6) That being as absorbed in your job as I am could also get me fired…
7) That I like the cute, rounded, primary colour approach that’s coming through in webdesign.
8) I now hate the look of my blog and realise that I’m not using it how I really want to
9) I want more people to read this blog, not for the fame…I just want to be part of the conversation
10) That I’m not as on the ball as I thought, I had no idea what Moo cards where nor the fact peoples started to look the same
11) I learnt that if you hang around people long enough they eventually take pity on you and befriend you (Seriously, those guys where awesome!)
12) That if you blue-screen in the middle of a lecture at one of these events everyone’s got some advice and sympathy…but Mac Boy’s rub it in your face

I learnt a whole lot more than this but in an attempt to make this worth reading I’m going to spread it out and update a little more sporadically…so the rats will never figure it out!!
