Nothing like wholesale “borrowing” something from another site, but I have to confess despite their overpriced/elitist nature and refusual to be compatible with anything else. I love Apple products. Always impressed by the quality of the design and build, plus they are elegantly easy to use. That said, it still amuses me when the PR juggernaut that is Apple make an error.

Seems that Apple have fessed up to a “few” Ipods overheating and catching fire/exploding. They’ve said they’ll replace them but despite the danger factor that comes from spontaneous combustion, I find it slightly amusing for the poor people who just watch their entire music collection suddenly catch fire and then wonder if there insurance company will believe them. “Your Ipod did what sir?”, “Exploded and caught fire sir?”, “Has sir been drinking?” *application rejected*
