X-files finally revealed the name of the latest instalment in an AP interview with Chris Carter, X-files: I want to believe, the name apparently comes from a poster hanging in Mulders office.

“It’s a natural title,” Carter told AP. “It’s a story that involves the difficulties in mediating faith and science. ‘I Want to Believe.’ It really does suggest Mulder’s struggle with his faith.” The film, is scheduled for release in August this year.
