Slashdot are on the ball today, picking up on a story via Zeropaid in which Sony BMG are being sued by a company called PointDev for having pirated software on their servers. Given that most of the places reporting the story are French, the facts are hard to secure.

PointDev is, according to the report, a small software company that secured a warrant for searching one of Sonys building. As a result of the search investigators are reported to have found four servers with pirate software.

Given that a lot of the report is in French, I am loathe to comment further but the Zeropaid report features Google translated versions of the various French reports.
